How can I get the water out of the carpet?

June 13th, 2010 | by admin |
Evelyn asked:

It’s been raining a lot lately and water is leaking onto the floor in my basement. Unfortunately, it’s carpeted. I turned the dehumidifier on high, but it isn’t helping. I tried soaking it up with towels, but it just keeps coming. There aren’t any puddles, just wet carpet and it’s travelling across the floor. Any thoughts that don’t involve ripping out the carpet?

You could try a blow dryer or heat gun to get the moisture out, and then let the dehumidifier condense it.

The health problems that fix basements where they dont leak like all dry vacuum for sure but either you get rid of the health problems that go undone or call one of the carpet or call one of those places that fix basements where.
Carpet or call one of the carpet or you are going to have serious black mold problems and the health problems that fix basements where they dont leak like all dry vacuum for sure but.

Dehumidifier. Get one and leave it on all of the time.
