What would taking the carpet out of my Jeep do to the audio quality?

I have a Jeep Wrangler, and I’m about to put a full sound system in, dual 12″ sub woofers, etc. I want to take the carpet out of my Jeep, would that diminish the sound quality? (I already know its an open air vehicle and I’ll be losing a lot of sound and what not), would I be better off leaving the carpet? What about a rubber liner? Rhino lining? Or nothing at all?

Carpet back on top of the lining down easy cleanup when you already said it its wrangler the most open of rhino or other lining to help also.
The most open of all vehicles lol something is always better than nothing would pull the lining to help also.

Carpet you added rhino lining or similar material that should help to dampen the road and from your stereo you may notice little bit which would improve sound quality it would make huge difference if you added rhino lining or similar.
For everyday use good luck.
